An Open House on GST related issues was held at the Cochin Chamber Hall on 18th July 2018.

Mr. P.N. Rao, Chief Commissioner, Central Tax, Central Excise & Customs addressed the Chamber Members on the GST related issues faced by them and suggested resolutions.

Mr. C.S. Kartha, Immediate Past President of the Chamber delivered the Welcome Address. Mr. P.M. Veeramani, Executive Committee Member of the Chamber gave the Introductory remarks.

The various queries from Company representatives were individually discussed and were provided clarifications. The pending queries were handed over to the Office of the Chief Commissioner for further action and were promised a quick resolution at the earliest.

Around 50 representatives from various parts of Kerala attended the Open House. It was also suggested that a similar Open House be conducted more frequently for the benefit of the trade and industry at the Chamber in the future.
