The Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry organised a One Day Seminar on Goods & Services Tax “ The Last Mile  on Friday, 23rd June 2017 at The Mercy Hotel, M.G. Road, Ravipuram, Ernakulam. Adv. G. Shivadas, Principal Partner and Adv. P.M. Prabhakaran, Partner of Lakshmikumaran Sreedharan Attorneys, Bangalore handled the Sessions at the Seminar. The session was a follow up on the one we had organised in the month of April 2017 and discussed in detail the various provisions contained in the GST legislation as it stands today along with the steps that are to be taken by trade and industry to transition smoothly to the new tax regime. Mr. Nishanth, Business Manager from Tally Solutions addressed the audience on 'IT Preparedness for GST' through the Tally Solutions platform towards the end of the Seminar.
